Dance – Visual Art – Live Music
Versus is a project that explore the form of the solo but with two performers, two figures, two spaces that cohabit, in a space in a 360° rotation.
Divided by a visual art work, created by the artist Etienne Rey, the stage is a space where light fragments into a cinematic of colors, a film of light with infinite compositions and in perpetual change.
The figure of the oxymoron, is the starting point of the choreographic research, starting from the two artistic signatures of the choreographers. A « concordant discordance ». These two solos will be articulated into a « duo » around a work of appearance and disappearance in the same space, reflection of point of view and traces on a shared ground.
Two musicians with different universes are invited in the creation process, where the musical oxymoron will be the common thread, between electro and baroque music.
A work of sound’spatialization, echoing the rotation of the scenic space will complete this project and encompass the experience of the public.
