"Moving and jubilant".
''A manifesto that leads us to see in every relationship what binds us and what moves us''.
''a real poetic and political bubble, excessively jubilant''.
"Excessively eventful, image-producing but also inspired by scenes from the History of Art, "Nos désirs font désordre" reaches into the recesses of sensuality, of skin, to show some aspects of the humanity of this group of eleven dancers."
DANCE - PERFORMANCE - VISUAL ART
We bring to the stage a community of men and women who translate the history of our humanity and are the representation of what we generally feel: something lurks around us, unbeknownst to us, we are bound to social, educational mores, restrictions, forbidden ideas and desires. But when we let go of our restrictions, nature reclaims its rights for a new Eden... "Nos désirs font désordre" is a pictorial journey, traversing the history of painting, the rituals of ancient civilizations, the creation of a Christian fishing world, the "communal equality" of primitive cultures in the Middle Ages, and a Jackson Pollock-style canvas to the communitarianism of the 21st century...
"Nos désirs font désordre" brings twelve performers to the stage for a political declaration, a new ritual, where fear becomes power, solitude becomes solidarity, communities become collectivities, as we stop loving our enslavement, the revolution of the heart begins.
"Our desires shock, they don't go without saying, they upset the established order, whether we like it or not, our desires are political, in the broad sense of 'that which concerns the affairs of the city', life in society."
