"O FUTURO É ANCESTRAL" is an exhibition in motion, designed for unconventional spaces. Carrying the weight of concrete as a metaphor for our civilization and colonial past, emphasizing human vulnerability, the Shibari ritual aims for solidarity between peoples as the only solution to the disintegration of society.
A human, queer message, to lift our mountains again and again, to build and rebuild, the colossi with feet of clay, vulnerable but powerful, builders of tomorrow, to reinvent the bond, to show the strength of those who unite, all of us, the peoples of yesterday, today and tomorrow...
An ode to our world's need for deceleration and to humanity's slowness.
