''Art is a gateway to observe and discover the world on a social, political, cultural and inter-relational level. It is neither the key nor the solution, but the way to get there.''
Driven by the desire to support a committed artistic approach, the collaboration between Christophe Béranger, Jonathan Pranlas-Descours and Lia Rodrigues opens up a space for dialogue and action around intercultural artistic issues. The meeting of their shared vision of a choreographic art resolutely invested in its social and political context defines the fundamental challenge of this international cooperation project.Thanks to the support of several French and Brazilian organizations, this cross-fertilization and residency project led to an immersion at the Centro De Artes da Maré (Rio de Janeiro) and a residency for young Brazilian artists at the Centre Intermondes (La Rochelle). Two short films of danced portraits and a book entitled "Bouger les murs" (Move the Walls) retrace this artistic and human adventure.
