"the performers are guided by a strong physicality and a dazzling lyricism ..."
Sérénade is an ode to dance and the pleasure of flight, where space becomes matter, the floor becomes landscape and the white clusters plunge us into a landscape of luminous valleys. Edged in white, the dance reveals itself like a painting, sculpting the bodies one by one to Tchaikovsky's score. Body states follow one another, raw bodies revealed as the space softens. The choreographic score traverses space and time with virtuosity, revealing what was hidden at the center: the individual in his solitude and simplicity.
