"In the image of Belgrade, the 7 female performers in "Shelter" dance in a way that is both gentle and powerful. A physical performance and a poetic interpretation, immersing the audience in the feminine gaze of this city that has been rebuilt many times and is still in the throes of change".
SHELTER is a creation inspired by the urgency of the musical score, where music and dance create a velocity, a speed, a flight of bodies for the audience... It is inspired by the story of an epic city such as Belgrade, which over the decades has been destroyed and then rebuilt like a virtuous circle, a shelter from the torments of the world, that we will plunge into the creation of Shelter to create a common shelter.
A shelter that allows us to open up to the world and reflect its contradiction, the tranquility of the urban world and the epic of living.
A reflection on the principle of collapse, because even the structures we imagine to be eternal are subject to collapse, so the body remains our daily temple.
"In the image of Belgrade, the 7 female performers in "Shelter" dance in a way that is both gentle and powerful. A physical performance and a poetic interpretation, immersing the audience in the feminine gaze of this city that has been rebuilt many times and is still in the throes of change".
